Status

This conformance report is in progress. Conversophy is committed to meeting WCAG 2.1 Level AA and EN 301 549 v3.2.1 requirements. The report will be updated as accessibility improvements are completed and validated.

The following work is underway to support a complete conformance assessment:

  • Automated accessibility testing (axe-core) integrated into the CI pipeline
  • Manual screen reader testing (NVDA, VoiceOver) across all primary user flows
  • PDF/UA validation for all exported documents (PAC 2024 / veraPDF)
  • Colour contrast audit across all themes (light, dark, high-contrast)

EN 301 549: Notes

EN 301 549 v3.2.1 extends WCAG requirements with additional clauses for software (Section 11), documents (Section 10), and support services (Section 12).

  • Section 10 (Non-web documents): Exported PDFs are tagged for assistive technology. PDF/UA validation is in progress.
  • Section 11 (Software): The web application is the primary interface.
  • Clause 11.7 (User preferences): prefers-reduced-motion is respected globally. prefers-contrast: more and forced-colors: active adaptations are planned.

Known Limitations

  • Some colour contrast ratios in interactive elements may not meet the 4.5:1 AA threshold in all themes, remediation tracked in the colour contrast audit
  • High-contrast and forced-colors mode adaptations are not yet implemented
  • PDF exports may not yet pass full PDF/UA validation, structure tagging is in progress
